Abdulgader Naseer, Architect
Abdulgader was born and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He joined Sage and Coombe to work on the first phase of Mulberry Commons, a new transformative 4-acre urban green space in downtown Newark that will include a pedestrian bridge connecting Downtown to the Ironbound neighborhood and Newark Penn Station.
He has worked on a variety of projects for New York’s Design Excellence and the Community Parks Initiative of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. Currently, Abdulgader is completing the design of a new multilevel charter school in Long Island City.
Abdulgader has participated in several mentorship programs, including the Smack Mellon Art Ready Mentorship program, the League Mentorship of the Architectural League of NY, and the AIANY Discover Architecture program. He received his BA from the University of Miami and a Masters in Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture. Abdulgader is a licensed architect both in the State of New York and in Saudi Arabia.
