Antonia Januzzi-Thomas, Designer
Antonia joined Sage and Coombe as a summer intern in 2018. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Architectural Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2020 with multiple department awards, she came back as a freelance designer later the same year, and as a full-time designer in 2021.
Since joining Sage and Coombe Architects, Antonia has worked on a wide range of projects in various different design phases across the office. However, her specialty lies in developing visual graphic approaches for projects including Mulberry Commons in Newark, New Jersey, the new Brooklyn campus of Poly Prep Country Day School in New York, an outdoor theatre for Live Nation called North Waterfront Park in Wilmington North Carolina, a comfort station for Light House Park, and many others. Antonia also acts as a mentor teaching high school students about art and design through the Studio partnership with The Smack Mellon Art Gallery.
